This heartwarming episode of Hawthorne Happenings captures the true spirit of the season as the Hawthorne Chamber of Commerce, in partnership with the City of Hawthorne, hosted its annual Christmas Toy & Food Giveaway outside the Betty Ang Sports Center.

For more than 20 years, this event has been a lifeline for families facing tough times—bringing food to tables and smiles to children’s faces. Thanks to over 40 generous organizations and businesses, kids were able to choose toys of their own, teens received gift cards, and parents left knowing their families were cared for during the holidays.
